Buying a new cutter

I am looking at buying a new PINC eCRAFT Craftwell. I have SCAL v2.041. is this machine compatable with this version or the new version of SCAL

You will need SCAL3, which you will be able to upload for free. Look at the info here:

Once you get it and are up and running please post what you think of it...I've been really interested but I've read both good and not so good reviews...The main reason I like that machine is the No Matte for cutting. I think that is the best thing about that machine.
If you aren't learning something new everyday you might as well just lie in a grave and wait for death.

Well I got my new PINC eCRAFT Craftwell cutter the delevery was very fast just over 24 hours. BUT it would not connect to my computer with any software after about 4 hours of tech service (not open on weekends) I had to pay postage to send it back. have not got the new one back yet
so far I am not a happy camper :(
