Here's my finished product. I forgot to change the settings on the cutter so it cut through the transfer paper in some areas which made some icky areas in the outlining. Thanks so much Heather! I did get it to work and used heat transfer vinyl to make a shirt for my daughter from it. I'll post the file later in case anyone else's kids have Eagles as their mascot. Came out really cute and I learned something new about what I can do with Inkscape!

Cute! Cheri font is one of my favorites and my daughter's favorite for quick sayings on shirts. Is there a tutorial that would help me put the outlining around the lettering? My font doesn't come with the outlining and using shadow would put color behind the polka dots where I woudn't want color add...

Thanks so much, the local sign shop gave me a sample of the clear tape and I like the way that looks better for sale. The clear contact would work also. It makes a big difference in the way it lays.
