Re: Rapunzel hair
Finally finished these. Wife not too happy, thinks they are a bit "blah". Plus she did not want this posted because everyone else always has more bling and these would be boring compared to those. But sometimes, less is more. On the back it starts out with "Come let your hair down at ...

Re: Rapunzel hair
Tried the shadow blackout and it turned out like a balloon animal, so wide and bulky. Your last file would work exactly like we would need it, however, we are still on SCAL 1. Can you save as a version one since I cannot read the version 2?

Re: Rapunzel hair
Was able to do that no problem; however when I brought it into SCAL, and tried blackout (wanting only to get the shape of the hair without the cutout strands), the strands still showed up. So now is there an easy way to get rid of the cutout strands on the inside?

Rapunzel hair
Wondering if anyone knew of a svg for some simple Rapunzel hair. Wanted to make a turret, and then just have hair coming out of a window. Tried to search for Rapunzel or the mouse movie, but could not find anything yet.
Thanks!

Netbook compatibility
Anyone running SCAL (1 or 2) off of a netbook? If so, how's it running and how much ram do you have? Debating on a netbook or low end laptop.
Thanks!
Thanks!

Re: Fill picture and insert text
Exactly what I needed to do. So, based on what firstcut said, break apart, then you have your solid balloon. For the text then, after I drop it in insode, I selected all and clicked Object to path. That gave me the outline of the words (outline display mode). That should give me what I need to cut?

Fill picture and insert text
Wondering how to do this one. I have a picture of a balloon, I traced it and now have an empty balloon. What I would like to do is cut the outline of the balloon, but keep the middle solid. Also I'd like to insert some text in the middle that would be cut out. If I insert the text as is right now, i...

SCAL general questions - looking to purchase
Hello all, Let me apoligize for the long post up front. Wondering if you can assist a husband here trying to help out his wife with a cutting tool. I had been looking at the Wishblade or the Craft Robo as an option, since they could cut shapes, dingbats, text, and custom cut pictures. The one reason...
