Here's some glass etchings I've been working on.
The first ones are "Beer" candles I am in the process of making , I will be filling the mugs with yellow colored gel wax and topping with a whipped paraffin wax to give it a foamy head look. The last one is pictures of my kids I've etched on glass blocks for a family member (photo is kinda fuzzy but the etchings came out quite clear). I've wrapped the glass blocks with 3.75" gold ribbon, followed by a 2.5" red ribbon and attached them with hot glue. I wasn't sure how well a photo would convert to an etching (I used Inkscape and converted the photo to bitmap) but it turned out great. Of course with each "success" my wife is finding more challenges for me!!!

Re: Glass Etching
I just did a Google image search for "Harley Davidson Logo" and then did a trace bitmap in Inkscape...

Re: Glass Etching
I usually try to grab the cleanest and largest file of an image to give the trace the best chance of working. There are obviuosly alot of Harley images to choose from. The more obscure images I get the best results by searching for a clip art version of the image, they are less complicated and trace easier.
Re: Glass Etching
