Newbie that needs HELP

Post by beautiful butterfly »

Hi, I'm a newbie to So Cal and trying to figure this all out. I purchased the original program in August and just purchased the update a couple days ago. I have two questions: 1- I wasn't able to see the library of my fonts in the updated program. It could be operator error completely, but any information will be helpful.
2- Ok, I don't know if this is possible, but I love some of the Quickutz Silhouette Images that can be downloaded. Is it possible to convert those file into SVG files to cut on the Cricut? The silhouette cuts true type fonts, etc.

The short answer is: Yes.
The longer answer is: How much work do you want to do? At the very worst case, you could take screen shots of the designs, open them in Inkscape, SCAL or some other tool and trace the image in the screenshot. The better case is that Inkscape or some other tool that can save as SVG can open whatever the Sihouette files are and you can save them to SVG.
