Need serious help please!

I'm trying to make a stencil to use for etching from this image. I've tried a lot of times but always run into problems. I was almost finished twice but something happened and inkscape shut down and I lost all my progress . I should have asked for help sooner but I really wanted to figure it out for myself. Can someone please turn this into an image that my expression will cut for me? Thank you in advance!

Do you have a higher res image? That one is really too low res for a good trace. You can trace it by setting your threshold (in Inkscape) somewhere between 0.55 and 0.6. HTH
