car windshield images

I need some help. How do you put images on your car's rear windshield? I'm assuming vinyl, but does it go on the inside?

Then, I need brainstorming ideas for what would fit my car. I want something involving animals. I'm obviously a rat lover, and I rescue pet rats. I also have two siamese cats and a rabbit. I have a beagle at my mom's house, but I'm not sure I want a beagle image since he doesn't live with us. I'd have to consider it. I was thinking about a cat, rabbit, and rat together but that might be a hard image to find. Any suggestions? You guys know more about what would look good than me.

I have not made anything for my car window yet, but I have made window stickers for the salon where I get my nails done. They wanted something that they could change as needed that would not be too difficult to remove. I just use contact paper for their shop windows. It lasts very well and they have the windows cleaned and everything. Some colors fade, though. Of course you can get vinyl, but contact paper is a cheap place to start and available almos anywhere. I put the paper side up (backing) on the mat and just cut as normal (no reversing the images)... that way the sticky side goes on the inside of the window, facing out and does not get exposed to the elements.

In my car window (lower part of the passenger side of the windshield, I have a schnauzer outline/silhouette (my husband purchased.... I did not cut). I suppose you could find something similar of a rat... if you love them enough to include in your screen name, then you probably love them enough to put on your car window. You could weld words like rat rescue or similar. Best wishes.
