Question about software purchase

I recently purchased the software and have a question. I sent a note on Sunday night but have not gotten a response so maybe someone here can help.

Actually the question was asked by my husband and I dont have the answer and couldn't really find it.

My question is I purchased the software and have my serial number. If say my computer crashes for some reason (god I hope not) can I just reinstall with my serial number? Also can I reinstall an unlimited number of times. I read something about 2 computer install but nothing about multiple installs on same computer if a crash occurs. I know that sure cuts a lot has great support or so that is what people say and will reactive software if there are issues. But my husband is concerned about having to go to the manufacture for support because what happens if you cant get a hold of someone or heaven forbid the company go out of business.

Any help would be appreciated.

You can reinstall on your same computer with the same number.. I've done it 3 times now... Also you can install it to another computer as long as it's the same platform.. Ex.. Windows and windows...What I did was back it up on a USB stick...and just plugged the USB into my other computer... Also when you reintall on your same computer if it does crash it will say activate and the same serial number pops up that you were assigned..

Ok so I am computer illiterate. I just ordered this software. How do you download to your computer and a USB stick?? Then your other computer recognizes it??

I downloaded it into my computer first then installed it on this computer.. I plugged the USB stick into my computer right clicked on the SCAL folder and saved it to the stick.. Plugged the stick into my other computer and uploaded it into my other computer...
