Setting mat size in SCAL4

I have just started using SCAL 4 and I was wondering if you can set the mat size so that it will stay at 12 x 12 and portrait for any files that you open. It is very annoying to have to change it everytime.

It should open projects with the size and orientation that it was saved with.
