I have V1.00 - need V1.1 - ????

I just tried to downloaded the trial version and the software says I need the V1.1 - It appears I have V1.00 on my Cricut. When I look under the 'help' instructions it says I need to upgrade my version using the Design Studio Software - I don't have the Design Studio. Do I need to go purchase that now before I can use SCAL? Is that the only way to upgrade my software?

There is a Free Trial Version of Design Studio that you can download to update the Firmware on your Cricut.
