Print 2 Cut registration problems....

I'm sure this has been answered many times over but since I have explored as many tutorials as I could and still haven't been able to fix my problem, I'll try my luck here on this forum.

At first I couldn't get my Cameo to see the registration marks. It's a hit or miss situation. But when it does cut, it is way way off. So I need to calibrate right? But when
I searched the help files it said I should find the calibration icon under File in the menu bar. It is nowhere to be seen? I'm using the latest software 3.0.531.
I'm sure that if I could try calibration I might be over most of my problems.

Also the horizontal scissors icon is mentioned for selecting unwanted lines within an image and clicking don't cut but I have never seen this icon. Has it been replaced by something else?
