Multi Cut Problem - SCAL 3

The multi cut option doesn't seem to be working thru the software. It has happened on both a Silhouette Portrait and a Silver Bullet. I can't seem to find a topic that covers this. Please help, I'm a real newbie to this type of software.

Mags, multi-cut is a feature that cuts the same object in the same place as many times as you need. It is used for cutting chipboard or other heavy paper.

If you want to cut several copies of the same object then you would copy/paste the object and separate them to cut it out multiple times.

Thank you Susan, but no...that's not it. I want to do a multi pass on a thicker material. I clicked on the multi pass option in the cut menu and the machine is only cutting once. It happened the same on both a Silver Bullet and a Silhouette.

mags, you might try the silver bullet forum, there might be an answer there. Someone might still show up here too as we do have a number of SB users but obviously not here today.

there is a group on Facebook I did see one project using chipboard but not what software was used.

It happened on the Silhouette as well so I was assuming it is a software, not hardware, issue. It's propably operator error and I just have something checked or unchecked that should/shouldn't be. If I find the answer I will post.
I will post on the SB form as well.
