Do I need to download the driver

I had to replace my motherboard and reinstall the SCAL program. I am running Win XP but see on the download page that there is a driver download. Do I need that? Also do I still need to download the DS trial for SCAL to work?

I'm not sure, what driver? If it's for Lib it Up, then you don't need that. Your Cricut will still have the firmware version it had before your computer crash, so you wouldn't need a firmware update.
