i am interested of getting scal but im confused about inkscape are the 2 separate programs?? if yes how do i get inkscape

Inkscape is a free program that you can use to create or edit svg (scaleable vector graphic) files that can be used in SCAL. You can download Inkscape from http://www.inkscape.org/ The combination of SCAL and Inkscape gives nearly limitless possibilities for cutting with your Cricut.
