Mirror imaging in scal

Is it possible to mirror image a design of text and images that are not overlapping? I seem to be totally lost here. If any one can talk me through it I would be most appreciative.
Here is the design I want to mirror image. When i try I either lose the crown, or the butterflies fly in strange directions ...I really am lost.

If you are using the first 'flip' button in the Appearance box, and pieces are flying in unexpected ways, I suspect you didn't group everything before you flipped. That would make everything flip individually. Instead, highlight everything you want to be part of the flip, group together, and then flip.
