OK, I an not a huge fan of DSS but the latest development is great. You can click on an object on the mat and there is an option that makes it invisible to the cutter. I would love that command in SCAL. That way, you don't have to have multiple files...you make the shape(s) that you don't want to cut invisible until you have finished your project.
PLEASE Todd (there's a cherry on top in case you didn't notice).

I agree! Please! There are many fonts that want to make too many cuts in them.....it would be awesome if we could select those lines and tell them not to cut. The new DS update does have this function and it is awesome!

I couldn't agree more. I find it hard to have to resize all my pieces that are imported so I end up cutting all the pieces from every color and end up with a lot of un needed pieces just to keep my cuts sized correctly. I would LOVE to be able to ignor,erase,or any way you can think of to get rid of cut lines that you don't want to be cut on the paper you have loaded.
