Machine acting CRAZY

Ok I am having issues with this machine and ecal software! I have had this machine for 3 months and saved MANY images on it and it has worked BEAUTIFULLY for the 3 months. All of a sudden, about 2 weeks or so ago it would cut an image and then stop abruptly and spit the mat out! Other times it would cut an image and while cutting it would put the blade down and cut for a few seconds and then lift the blade acting as if it is cutting the entire image, but leaves spots it never cuts. There was also a, what I call, Margin on parts of the mat ( left side, right side, or right down the middle of the mat) it just will NOT cut in. Other times it will start cutting and then a few seconds later completely shut off by itself in the middle of cutting! It will randomly do this at different times of cutting materials. So, I updated the software and made sure everything is working right and since I did all of that I noticed the material size was on 12x12 instead of 8.5 x 11. I changed that and made sure my images were in the correct areas on the mat and save the images again. For the past 2 weeks everything was working 100% fine again, no problems whatsoever. Today I went to cut images ( that were previously working fine the past 2 weeks) and it starts to cut and doesn't put the blade down in spots ( again) and then abruptly shuts off! Sometimes if it decides to spit the mat out ( it lands on the floor since you are not thinking it will happen!) and by the time you get over to your computer screen to cancel the cutting it will start cutting INTO THE PLASTIC OF THE MACHINE! I am getting sick of this crazy machine! My hubby is a computer guy and has checked everything and has no idea what is going on either. Can anyone help???????

we have the same problem please look at forum " problem cutting on eclips with ecal.
