Missing Shapes Library...

...My computer got a nasty virus which was removed but it corrupted my OS so we needed to have it worked on. Had everything backed up on an external hard drive. So after all was said and done and I got SCAL2 back on my computer I noticed that the shapes library is missing. I have the fonts, checked to make sure "all" was checked in the shapes library and still nothing. Now I did recently add the free upgrade SCAL3 for my Cameo but they are stand alone programs so this should not be affected. I still use my Cricut and SCAL 2 as well as my Cameo and SCAL 3 so I want them both to fully work. I am not exactly computer savy so I am not sure what's wrong or what I can do to get the shapes library back. Can any one steer me in the right directions to fix this. TIA.

You are the 2nd person with this problem, right now...maybe copy paste your message into bugs and also send a note to support.

I am having the same issue...I recently got a new computer (Nov 2011) and now my shapes and rhinestones are missing...I just spent $200 on a sticky flock system that is completley useless to me now...Can anyone help those of us who are missing our shapes library? PLEASE...Im begging...I will pay!!

Check this....First see if the files are in your program file on your computer. Assuming you are using a PC, follow these steps.

Start with clicking on your computer icon and then choose each file in this order:
Computer - Local Disk (c:J
Program Files
CraftEdge
SureCutsALot
Library
Basic Shapes.lcut2 (is it there in the library folder) The Rhinestones folder should be there also.

If it is, open SCAL and on your menu bar, click on Edit - Preferences
In the middle of the screen look that is says Users\Public\Documents\CraftEdge\Library

That is the link that takes you to the files in the Program folder for CE on your computer.

If the file is not there, send me a PM with your email.

It would not allow me to PM you...My email address is (deleted)..THANK YOU so much for your info-- I was able to rerote things to get my shapes library back...BUT I still cannot get my rhinestone? I can see the rhinestone files...all 4 shapes with svg after them...but they do not show up. Do you know what I can do to get the rhinestone function back? Again, you have been a tremendous help and I really thank you!!

I had a computer crash and had to purchase a new computer. It has Windows 8. My shapes library has disappeared and I need it. Please help!
