How do you cut media longer than mat size or 24"?

I have the new Silhouette Cameo and do not need to use a cutting mat in order to cut vinyl. My question is, how to I remove the cutting mat or tell SCAL3 that I am cutting something longer than 24". My image or cut file is 56" x 6". I tried to customize my Cutter Mat size, but when I set it outside of 12"x24" it wont save.

when you type it it it automatically sets the mat to those numbers if youyou want to save that mat size you'll have to lable it and save project then open that one to use it what i do when i want a large mat is make it the save project as then sy it is 56 by6 but dont put any thing on it then I have the custom mats here is the one I saved in the 56x6 you have to remember when you fit it to the window it makes it very hard to see every thing. here is one that i saved in BC mat and then the Cameo

when using the BC, the "mat size" tab has an option for "customize." Have you seen that in eSCAL?
