Hi!
Have not been on here in forever and have to get back to getting things in order. This may be a question for Todd, but here goes.... My old computer is finally gone and I had to switch to a Vista computer. My original SCAL program is on my old XP system (former computer.) My Cricut Expression was running on the old system perfectly fine. If I download the new update/version onto the new computer, can I run the new version and more importantly, will it run correctly?
I think I may still have my original code to run the program - do you think this will work? Any experience with this would be helpful.... hope all of these machines talk to each other!!

Downloading from a new Vista computer?
Re: Downloading from a new Vista computer?
Hi Denise,
The SCAL download is the same version for both XP & Vista. I have Vista and run mine in compatability mode for XP as it used to crash a bit otherwise. Your code is good for two installs (I check with Todd before cos I wanted to put it on my desktop and laptop - one is Vista, one is XP).
Hope this helps,
Mel

Re: Downloading from a new Vista computer?
Thanks... but there's the question. I want this on my laptop, but will I need a new code to put it onto the new desktop, since the old one is gone? If I use the code again, then I won't be able to put it on the laptop? Think I'll try the download later or email Todd about how to handle.
Thanks!
Denise
Thanks!

You should be able to use the same authorization code on different computers. If it doesn't work, just ask Todd for another one.
