downloading an svg file

Post by craftyjiver »

HELP - How do i download an svg file? It comes up as a safari document and my surecutsalot says it has to be a ttf to cut it.
I feel so helpless with all this. Thought i was reasonably intelligent! thanks - cant see an answer on forum

If you are getting it from this board, you should just click on the file and choose "save as" instead of open. Tell it where you want to save it. I usually plop mine on the desktop. FYI -- I have a folder that I set up just for svg files and have created categories and then I move it into the category in the folder where I want to file it.

Anyway, open SCAL and import it from wherever it is on your computer.

Hope this answers your question.

A ttf is a font file so it's possible that the file is from a dingbat font. Without more info, just shooting in the dark except for the .ttf part.
