Hey Everyone, Paperkutz here. I'm new to the SCAL forum. Some of you might know me from other forums. I finally took the plunge and got the SCAL software. I'm a big True Blood fan and decided to try out SCAL by designing a series of 5 paper portraits to practice. I just finished designing the last one today. They are: four 8x10's of Bill, Eric, Sookie, Jason and a 12,12 of a Sookie & Eric group shot. I plan on adding some red embossing liquid for the blood drops.
I will spend the next couple days to cut them and will post them back to this thread as they are finished. Check by later.
(update: all four of the 8x10 portraits are up. I think the detail for the Sookie & Eric group shot is a little too intricate to cut for a 12x12 size. I will probably have to hold off until I can upgrade to a large cutter. If there are any brave souls who has a 24 inch cutter and wants to take a go at it, let me know.)

I have no favorite characters...however your work is going to be liked...ALOT...VERY NICE!
Re: Paper Portraits
Here is my paper portrait of Eric Northman from True Blood. I decided to use this product called 3D Crystal Color Lacquer to make the Blood. I think it adds a lot to the finished look.

Re: Paper Portraits
I just finished Sookie Stackhouse. She was a little more difficult to cut in an 8x10 size. Tomorrow night I should hopefully finish the series with Jason Stackhouse.

Re: Paper Portraits
They are. The very first image was just a screenshot of Eric in SCAL all designed, but the other four images are the final product; cut, glued and red crystal lacquer added.
