Just learnt you can have SCAL opened in two windows at once

Post by NurseMel »

WOW. I just learnt you can have SCAL open in two workable windows at once.

I was cutting something on the Cricut and obviously had a window open. I had to get up from the computer to do something and when I returned I accidentally opened a second window (forgot the first was there...DUH). I then noticed there were two and went Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm. Yes you can cut with one window and design with the second one. I then saved my image from my second SCAL window and reopened it and cut through my original window and just kept on designing in the second one. So you can do two things at once. YAYYYYYYYYYYYYYY.

Not sure if anyone else realised this already...probably...I'm usually the last one to know stuff or to figure something out. Thought I would post this just in case someone wasn't aware.

Hope this helps,
Mel

I gave it a go have 3 windows open so actually it makes it great to cut and paste between. Best part is you can then get sizing right on the mat. Thats the area Im having problems with as a newbie relating the mat to the finshed cut especially as its in inches still and Australia is metric.

Thanks for sharing.
Christine

Just to clarify I dont actuall copy and paste I use it for the same project but differet sizing

I have tried to copy from one window to another, but have been unable to do so. Is there a special way to do it? Or do you just copy in one window and paste in the other? Which is what I am trying, but it doesn't work for me.
