Graduation wall design for school gym
I was asked to cut letters to decorate the wall of our school gym for a reception following graduation. These letters were about 10 inches high at the base, with letters such as "l", "d" and "t" being about 14 inches high. The capital letters ended up being about 20 inches high. I cut them out of just plain black posterboard, and pieced together the letters that were taller than the 12 inch mat used by my cricut. I think it turned out rather nicely. Just thought I would share that it is possible to cut larger letters and piece them together.

Very nice! Would've never though of piecing the letters together to allow them to be bigger than the mat. Great idea.

I used the Chopin script font, set a "bold" option. Without the bold, it was just too fine to cut nicely.
Thanks for all of the nice comments!

It was very fun...especially considering that my daughter was the salutorian of the class, won the highest scholarship, and made her mom very proud! I think that is one of the main reasons I agreed to try....wanted to make it a special night for my angel!
