You can also join the "Boycott Provo Craft" facebook page and help spread the word. I've looked at many blogs and sites and most have a mention of how unsatisfied customers are. The bigger the number of protesters the more PC and BOA will see we are serious.

Did you hear that BOA owns 50% of PC. Fifty percent! That is a crazy number. My DH invests and when I told him he almost fell out of his chair. I am trying to remain neutral about all of this. Help people with questions about cutters, etc... I honestly don't understand why BOA owns such a large share in a crafting company. I keep having these thoughts they are trying to find a successful company to get them out of the mess they made with the housing market. I am so disturbed about that. My DH is long time construction, we don't own a home but invest instead. When the housing market fell we fell with it. Luckily we had our stocks and a long term construction career. I don't want to support PC or BOA if this is the stunt they are pulling. I wouldn't put it past them.

I am glad I got that all out, lol. I don't like talking about that stuff on other boards because everyone, understandably, is so hot right now about all of this. Over here we are really laid back so we get mad and stay cool. ;) Now watch this show up on other forums & I get misquoted, ROFL!

well, I guess we had better quit using our Sizzix and Spellbinder dies in our Cuttlebug. I don't see them being sued for us using a third party product in our Cuttlebugs! That will probably be next.

After reading the filed complaint against Craft Edge, it literally makes me sick to my stomach that Provo Craft is making Brandon sound like such a criminal. I think those that are taking a wait and see attitude about Provo Craft boycott might want to read the official complaint. Boycotting PC is not going to change anything as far as lawsuits go, but the more people that know about such a greedy corp. maybe the boycott could hurt their bottom line...money from sales to innocent people that don't know there are many other cutters out there that are priced competitively to the crapcut and this wonderful software that will work with other cutters who embrace third party software. For those that may be interested here is the pdf of the filed suit.

I sent pc an e-mail and told them that I don't do scrap booking I sandblast and if it were not for scal I would not of bought two of there machines and and I would stop recommending them until I knew the outcome. I never heard back from them. Keep up the pressure, I have a BoA account and will be closing it and letting them no why.

Wow Bob sandblasting that is impressive. I think it's neat you were using the Cricut for that. Are you going to use a different cutter now?

Did you know Geico and Hershey fall under BOA too. I know this because Warren Buffet pulled out of BOA before the New Year's. I use Geico for my insurance. Long time customer. I am just so disturbed about what BOA might be doing. I understand they are a holding company. Fifty percent in a crafting company seems to be a bit odd to me for a bank that was involved in a historic housing recession. What are they doing that is not on the up and up?

I don't really want to pull my car insurance. Geico has been great to me & my DH. We are happy with them. We get really low rates. My DH is a professional driver in the construction industry.

I have a lot of PC products form Cricut's to Knifty Knitter looms. I can't do the boycott at all. I would hamper my own work. I am not buying retail any more from Cricut. I will use Ebay and my thrift stores. I am sure there is going to be some Cricut treasures at thrift stores now. :D!
