Shirts for my son's baseball games

Post by MSGRANDMA »

I made these shirts to wear to my son's baseball games. I made one for me and one for my husband. I think I will make some for my grandsons too. I love being able to personalize things.
It look like it cut off some of the picture, but you get the idea!!

Thanks. I am just so excited that I could create it myself. I don't have the talent of some of you wonderful people, but I am learning.

You are all so...far ahead of me in this craft. What material did you use when cutting the images and is it an iron on type of adhesive?

It is heat transfer vinyl. It is applied with an iron. You can get it through HH sign supply or one of the other vinyl suppliers.

I forgot to add that you have to flip the design to cut it.

Love it! I wish I had my cricut when my son was younger. I used to make him shirts for different holidays (Vday, St. Patirck's Day etc) and I would have to print a graphic on iron-on transfer paper and the edges would peel and the whole design would start to crack after one wash. This would have been so much more professional looking. He's 8 now and I doubt he would wear a t-shirt that was homemade.

Those look great.

Did you your a regular iron to set those or do you have a heat press.

Can't wait to order some of that. Been doing a little research on spray painting T-shirts. If it would just warm up enough and that wind would lay I am going to give it a try.
