Looking for a race car template

Post by Angieg24 »

This may be the wrong forum for this. I am looking for template for an SCX Digital Race car 32 Scale. I have searched the internet, and I just can't find one. I don't have the SCAL program yet, but I'm pretty sure this is my ticket to getting it  My husband wants a Jeff Gordon and Jimmie Johnson car for "the kids" racetrack  and he bought blank cars. Does anyone know where I might find this? I was thinking the Vinyl might work to this with, right?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thank in advance,
Angie

I don't know if you're still searching but I think that if you're planning on cutting decals for the cars, they might be too small. I'm not sure what you are asking for exactly. I have some NASCAR files for diecuts/paper-pieced cards, logos & numbers but you wouldn't be able to make them small enough to fit on a diecast or slot car.

I cut vinyl for my son's Pinewood Derby car (name, flames, and fleur-de-lis). The fleur-de-lis was about 1 inch and the name was about 0.3 inches tall. HTH

I think if the image is something simple it will cut small but if it is intricate it might rip/tear. If "authentic" specific driver #s or sponsors are needed, it might be hard. They would have multi colors, shadows etc. It would be great to find out if it would work though. I will look through my files and put up some examples.

I was wondering where I might find a font to use for a race car I'm making. It's like the slanted number.
