Scrapbook page

Help! I am trying to make a scrapbook page with box cut outs within the page and lettering inside of the box. When I try to weld it to the box the letters disappear and only the box is shown in the cut preview. I can get the letters to weld outside of the box but not inside. Can anyone help me?

You can do this in SCAL2 by using Path operations.

Place your shapes where you want them. Then type your text and position it so that it overlaps the edges of the shapes at least a little. Select a shape and the text inside and use Path/Back minus front. Do this for each box. HTH
