Text drop down menu not working

Text drop down menu not working

I am attempting to do text to path, but although there is a tiny little black triangle in the corner of my text icon, the drop down menu isn't showing up. I am still using version 2.011 in a windows vista. Any suggestions?

you have to hold and wait a second before it appears.

Whew!! That was an easy fix! Patience is NOT one of my virtues and it really showed in this instance! Thanks so much Kay! You are a lifesaver (love your blog too!)
