New Pen Holders for Cricut

Post by cbrown »

Has anyone used the new mini sharpie, micro mini sharpie, and the mini gel pen holders for the Cricut? If so which ones did you use, the ones from Custom Crops or the ones from Amy Chomas.

Candace,
The ones from Custom Crops and from Amy are the same, the Cri-Kits ones are different.
I have some side by side drawing comparisons on my blog

Hi Candace-I like the Gellybug holder I bought on Ebay from Mybluis.
http://cgi.ebay.com/Cricut-mini-pen-hol ... 4065--just saw offer for $36.99 for 1 slugbug holder (for sharpies), 1 black mini sharpie, 1 gellybug holder (minigel pens) and set minigel pens.

Haven't tried the slugbug holder but do like Gellybug. Maybe other offers without all the parts...?

I tried the Slugbug and I bought some original Sharpies also found that the Dollar Tree has Mini Permanent markers (they are the same size as the Sharpies and come in a Four pack for $1). Anyways I used it on white vinyl and then cut it out and was not pleased with the results but I can see how this would benefit someone trying to use it on paper for a card or some other type of ink project.

By the way I think that ebay seller is blowing out their product because after I bought my Slugbug ($18), the set was going for $40 for both items. Well went back to the store and saw that they were blowing out the Slugbug and Gellybug for $25, so if you are looking for the product I would go for the package deal.
If you aren't learning something new everyday you might as well just lie in a grave and wait for death.
