Looking for cute box

Hi,

I'm a newbie and for my first project, I was thinking about doing a box. My kids had a pottery painting party this weekend and I was thinking of returning the painted pieces to their owner in a cute box. Any suggestions of a good box for this for someone who is new ??? Will "paper" boxes be strong enough to hold a 3-4 inch painted piece?
