I'm a brand new SCAL user. Sorry if this has been addressed before. When I made my first cut today The middle of my o's didn't cut out. I noticed when I previewed my words that the middle of the o's turned light blue so I figured they might not cut...and I was right. Any suggestions? I had welded my letters together...the middle of my a's did cut.
My other questions is about cutting speed. I had my actual cricut set at the lowest cutting speed but when the machine started to cut, my blade seemed to be moving at warp speed and ripped some of my lettering. Is there something I'm suppose to do within my SCAL software to set the blade speed?
Thank you!!!

Re: cutting speed and missed cuts
If you go to your properties setting when you open the SCAL you can minimize the speed to cut slower or maximize it..
