Selecting Font Help

Post by decalmd »

I just downloaded the trial version of SCAL. I typed in the word "hello" and I can not figure out how to click on the letters individually to turn them and rearrange them. I have tried clicking, double clicking, yelling...nothing works :) Please help me!!! Thanks!

Try clicking on the word and then going to "Object' and then click "Break Apart" That should work for you. Hope that helps!

Break apart will work, but it will separate the text completely, including separating the insides from the outsides of the letters. Try using Object/Ungroup instead. This will separate each letter so that they can be moved individually, without the complications of Break Apart. HTH

Thank YOU Thank YOU Thank YOU!!!! I used the "ungroup" option and it worked perfectly. I did not try the other option yet. Thank you both for your responses. I felt like a complete computer idiot when I couldn't figure it out.
