Oh what a nice layout! Thanks for posting it. It's a really nice feeling when you get to see your work put to use. Again, I was very glad to help! :D

You take as much as you need and then you put a plug in the tree so the spot heals over. If hubby and I decide to do our maple tree this will be the first year.. The days have to be mild and the nights cool.. We know when ours is ready to tap when the sap runs outside the tree bark..
Sounds like fun! I wish I could give it a try. :(

Your layout came out great. I took a close look at your pics too and the whole thing looks like so much fun. I guess I never thought about where the syrup comes from or how we get it.

Great job on the layout.. Heather you really need to move out into the real life where you fish for fish and tap for syrup..LOLOLOL. I don't think your palm trees will cut it..

Thanks for the nice comments on my page. Heather I don't go with my hubby or grand daughters when they go to the sugar house, I hate maple syrup, I don't even like the smell of it. LOL!!! But I do go with them when they go fishing even though I don't fish, it is very quiet & peaceful at the lake.
