Cutting with the Silhouette Cameo

I didn't follow the info. on how to cut with the Silhouette SD, so I'm not sure if SCAL can cut with the Cameo selected as a printer. Jin from Under a Cherry Tree was able to cut with the Cameo and MTC, but only through the back door of selecting the Cameo as a printer instead of a cutter. I just wanted to know from you techie types, if SCAL can do this, too. I want to be able to use my extensive .svg collection without buying new software.

I thought you had an Ecutter,what happened with that machine?

I did have an Ecraft, but didn't care for it and sold it on Ebay. Then I bought a Pazzles, but thought it cut about the same as the Cricut, so I sold it, too. Lol, I'm on my 3rd machine of the year. But I think this is a keeper.

If you are using Windows, you can use the CraftROBO option as your cutter and it should cut with a Silhouette CAMEO ok.

In the latest 3.011, the Silhouette option under the Cutter menu has been changed to Silhouette SD/CAMEO and should work with the CAMEO now. When you hit Cut, it will display the Cut Settings where you can select the Silhouette model
