You can do this right in SCAL.. Just bring it into scale go trace image and adjust the numbers you see in the little box until it shows up...It's so much fun learning and seeing as this is a simple image you should be able to accomplish it.. I've attached the box that opens up when you do a trace image.. Just click on preview each time you adjust the numbers..

yey!!!! did the purple one, managed to turn it black and it worked. did it in inkscape. couldnt find auto trace on my scal.....i only scal1. Thanks again
