Good Morning Ladies ~ It's still morning here in Oregon........
When I Trace this image it has the double separation lines between each section. Would someone be willing to convert this into an image I can use, with only one solid line between each section? And maybe even let me know how I can do it myself next time?
I am going to try to share with you what I just did with the picture, so you can try now.
1. Use trace and I changed the top number to 90
2. OK
3. Put a box around everything and Ungroup and Break Apart twice
4. Put cursor on the outside square and copy paste to another page to keep handy.
5. Do the same with the 3 corner pieces that make up the outline of the bird.
4. Put a box around the bird pieces, and first do a copy paste so you have two of them, and change one of them to Shadow Rounded in the Properties Panel by NORMAL with the drop down arrow.
Adjust this to .50 size with the down arrow in the box to the right.
5. With a box around this weird shadow go to Path and Union. Now you should have an outline of the bird.
6. So, then I guess you would Break Apart the inside pieces and group together according to the colors you want to use.
OR, you could Group all of those pieces and then go Path and Front minus Back, or visa versa, and make it a one piece object.
You have the frame on page two, to do what you want with it, if needed.
Give it a go and see if you can do the same thing. I am around this afternoon if you have more questions.
