Print and Cut Out a Digital Stamp Using Sure Cuts A Lot!

Did you know that you can print a digital stamp using Sure Cuts A Lot (SCAL) and then cut it out using a shape or SVG in SCAL? See an example of a project where I did this below. Pretty cool, huh? That is quite lovely.
Here's a tip: If you use one layer for the print and one layer for the cut you can toggle them on and off and not have to delete anything.

Just so I can understand this .... why do we unplug from printer and plug to cricut(scal)? Am I not understanding it right? my cricut(scal) is already hooked to my computer via usb cable.Same thing eith my printer too. Ijust need to clarify this in my mind so I can visually see what I'm doing! Thank you!!
