How do I confine text into a 4 inch text box?
I want to write a couple of sentences as a short paragraph about 4 inches wide. Whenever I type the text it stretches out in one long line of text. When I hit return the text does not drop to the next line. My intention is to use my gel pens to write the text instead of printing it from the computer. Is this something i can do with SCAL?

I would draft it out in a word processing program to see where the line breaks fall and then retype it in separate lines in SCAL. Or you could take a screen shot of your word processing document and then trace in scal, or print to pdf and import into SCAL.

I just try to do all this type of thing right in SCAL2...type a line and then click below where you want to start the next line, and so on...don't worry about the font size...then drag a box around everything with the arrow in the Tools Panel and then with the lower right handle adjust to the size you want or use the H & W for height and width in the Properties Panel.

thank you so much! you have been so helpful and I really appreciate that you took the time to explain this to me. I've only had SCAL for a few weeks and I am completely in love.
