Re: Cursive fonts?
I can't give much advice. I have cut cursive words but not straight within SCAL. I would imagine all of them cut well...you might experience some problem with the really skinny one when pulling off the mat as they might tear so you would have to be really careful.
Which one to use is really a matter of taste and how the font's personality work with the project.

I like Banty S and Brush script

My favorite is called "Blackjack". It's a neat little cursive font, not too fancy, just right. When typing out the letters, though, you may have to weld some of them together yourself... it depends on the letters you're typing. I have cut with this font MANY times and have not had any problems. Be sure to use your spatula to help you lift it off the mat. Enjoy!
PS: This is a free font too. Just use Google to do a search for "free Blackjack font" and you'll find it!

I used one called LHF Bounce script that was a really good one to use. It connects itself with the smaller case letters. Good Luck!

I always use Claudia. It is a pretty, basic cursive that looks very much like handwriting. And a bonus is that if you type your word and click weld, it is automatically ready to weld without any tweaking.
