Has anyone tried cutting wood with Cricut?

Post by ncborn »

I saw the infomercial for the new deal with a Cricut and DVD's how to set and they showed one that showed some on cutting wood but not too detailed because of course they were trying to sell the whole package and so much for them to show. It kept saying you get all of it just by paying shipping. HA!!! HA!!! Anyway was wondering if anyone has tried to cut wood and what type of wood would you use and where can you get the wood? It would have to be pretty thin wood. Would like to see some completed projects if anyone has cut wood. Thanks again as usual for all tips and sharing of files on this forum. As many have said this is the best forum around and with the GREATEST members!!

About the only wood I could imagine trying would be something like the thin balsa that they make the little glider planes and stuff out of - I know I used to cut that in my cuttlebug but I've never thought to try it with the Cricut.
