I hope I can word this right, lol
I am making jackets for my daughter's cheerleading team out of vinyl that wont layer (it's the hologram vinyl). The base is going to be a giant L, and the top layer will say Legends midway across the letter- but everywhere the Legends is on top of a part of the L, it keeps peeling off. is there any way to piece out the L so the letters of "Legends" will stick to the jacket?
Question
Re: Question
maybe cut a section out of the L and place it above and below the center of the word

Re: Question
You can always divide the L.. Split the top piece from the bottom and then put the world Legends separating the two Pieces..Like I did here..

Re: Question
I use Inkscape to create, but I'm almost positive this could be done in SCAL2 also. I will tell you how I do this in Ink and maybe you or someone else can tell you how to accomplish this in SCAL. Once I've created all the text and gotten the porportions the way I want, I make a duplicate of the text that I want to overlay. In this case, it's the word "Legends". I then make that duplicate a shadow of the original text. Last, I use the path>difference option to cut the shadow text out. I hope this makes sense
. If you like this option and can't figure it out, I would be glad to help!
