Wondering.....

Post by scrpbooklady »

....if anyone has a svg or scut file for creating a display stand for 12x12 scrapbooks - kind of an easel style? I am doing a presentation at the beginning of March and need to display several layouts - but I really don't want to spend the $ to buy easels that I will most likely never use again. I'm sure I can create one but figured that I'd see if someone already had something before I try to make it. I saw the small jewelry easel and I tried it but I was having trouble getting the stability with the weight of the layout.

Lora,
I bumped three different posts for you. You should be able to enlarge one or two of these to work for your layouts.

Thanks Todd! I will give those a try. I want them to look nice since it is at a luncheon at a country club - but I don't want to spend a ton of money either since it's an all volunteer thing. I've created an 8x8 make & take layout that the ladies will be able to do - everything is cut with my cricut. I have to do enough for 50-60 people so even that is going to be a bit pricey.

I just came up with this idea...had to try it to see if it would work, and it does.

That would be a great way to display a 2-page layout!

Since I work in a frame shop, I'm very used to working with foam core - but I never thought to do something like this! Thanks so much for the idea!
