I'm new to cricut and sure cuts a lot. In fact I've only had time to create a few charts for the classroom. I'm enjoying the machine and I'm excited to use it in more ways in the classroom. I'm also really excited to see what I can do with vinyal! I can see so many possibilities !
oh...and
Pittsburgh's going to the superbowl !!
Anyone else going to watch the game on Sunday? I'll be watching the game at our house, but it will only be me and our son. My husband won't be in the area and our daughters live in OH and San Fran. I'll probably just do some Italian Beef to make sandwiches. Just hoping for an exciting WIN !!
Go Steelers!!!
Re: Go Steelers!!!
Just a warning - vinyl is ADDICTING!
I'm rooting for the Steelers, Even though I'm a Pats girl, I've been a Steelers fan since the days of the Steel Curtain. This is the first super bowl for Dallas and things are nutty here. The weather is terrible, we've been frozen in for days (10 degrees is almost unheard of here). There was a problem with coal plants or some such thing yesterday, necessitating rolling black outs - the hospitals were NOT exempt but the football stadium was! Everytime something bowl-related happens, there is breaking news. They even had a news helicopter following the team buses to the stadium for 'media day'. It's supposed to be in the 50's on Sunday, balmy by both Greenbay and Pittsburg standards. Should be an exciting game!

Uh, oh. We've just got 5-8" of snow dropped on us overnight ON TOP OF the ice from the last 3 days. Jerry Jones must have REALLY pi@#$d off the football gods.
On the other hand, thanks to the superbowl, we actually have SNOW PLOWS for the first time ever!

Sandyj,
My oldest lived in Dallas for years. She actually married a Cowboy fan from Dallas and her wedding was in Dallas. She her her hubby only moved to San Fran this past fall. We were razzing her that if they had stayed in Dallas they would have had a fantastic family reunion again because her entire clan would have camped in her apartment just to there. Worse, though was that she told me that her former business reps told her that they could have had tickets for her to the game if she were still lIving there.
The snow plow is funny. My daughter called once and told us that they had ice once and she was using her windshield ice=scraper. Her neighbors had no idea what it was. She could have made a lot of people happy that day if she had a box of them.
oh...Cleveland Brown fan. I have a daughter who lives in Ohio, too. I'd cheer your team on if it were in the super bowl (and not against the Steelers). If I remember correctly, between '46 and '55 the Browns played in 10 consecutive league championship games. Did any other team do that? I don't think so...
If I'm not mistaken, your team picked up Colt from UT. If so, he led the Longhorns to the championship, so maybe in the future you'll be there.
But, I'm looking forward to the game.
(hope I didn't offend anyone with the team post; it wasn't my intention.)
