askmom: Sorry you never got your Cricut from them. I bought my E, a cart and a tote from them, luckily without a problem.

Todd: Seems like Cricut stuff has been on sale everywhere recently. I wonder if it has anything to do with the E2 coming out in April.

I didn't even know they were developing a 2. Here is a picture I found.

Uses cut files from both Cricut and Imagine cartridges.
Color digital screen replaces the need for overlays.
Customize color inserts with your favorite color.

Do you think they are trying to keep up with the Cougar machine??

Cougar? They would need to make more than basic changes to the Cricut to do that. From everything that I have heard, the Cougar is a well built powerful machine, and the Cricut is entry level quality.
