That's a neat idea! I didn't think too many people outside of Louisiana celebrated this holiday.

OH NO.. not just Louisiana...
there are TONS of cajuns in Texas..
We love Mardi Gras...
Galveston always does a big weekend and parade on the board walk...
Thanks for this.. we just made a trip to N.O. and my daughter is "scrappin" a page..
This will be perfect..

Well, yea, I'd heard about the Cajuns in Texas. Ever seen Belizaire the Cajun? The Cajuns were driven out of Louisiana and many of them went to Texas.

It's a very small movie that was filmed in Louisiana. It was a low-budget film, but very interesting if you're into the history of the Cajun people.
