Cutting Fonts/Shapes from Cricut Cartridges

Post by streetscrapper »

Hi all. I'm new to SCAL, but I'm absolutely loving it!!! Just a quick question, something someone can hopefully clear up for me... I was on another site and read a post about being able to cut the fonts and shapes from the Cricut cartridges - EVEN IF YOU DON'T HAVE THEM. True? False? If so, HOW????

I imagine you would take the picture of the object from the booklet, convert it into an svg using Inkscape, then import into SCAL. But that's quite a bit of work and I don't think the quality would be nearly what you would get from the actual cart.

Two Peas have some very similar TTF's to cricut cartridges. Maybe that is what they mean?
