Cricut not cutting

Sure cuts a lot says cutting complete but nothing happens on the cricut. Can someone please tell me what is going on. I have been using SCL for over a year now and never had this problem before.

Have you updated SCAL2 lately? If so, it may be the newer update that is causing the problem.

Also, double check to see what Cricut firmware version SCAL is showing. If you updated your firmware on your bug lately, you will need to change the number in SCAL so the firmware matches.

I am using the latest update 2.038c with Windows Vista and a Personal Cricut machine without any problems.

I did notice that the firmware on my cricut is 1.54 but my scal is 1.51. I have not changed anything though.
