I have some fonts I want to beef up a little. I've been watching some videos on doing this in inkscape.
Some of the fonts I can thicken up in scal... on some letters it doesn't work. OK, I create my monogram in scal... then save the file and try to import it into inkscape, when I try to import it in inkscape i can't find it. What am I doing wrong?
Thanks for any help

One more thing, when I tried to convert an scut to svg, I found the svg file in the folder where the original scut file was. Hope that's where yours are.

Files go where you tell them to so that is probably where yours defaults to. You should have a chance to change that in a dialog before you save it.
