Hair spray is a really bad idea unless you are making something that will be thrown away. Much better to use one of the other options already mentioned or Gum Arabic.

ok - i made some up with my walnut ink spray and perfect pearls. BEAUTIFUL. i think i read where perfect pearls already had the fixative so no glue was needed. it turned out so shimmery. i am so excited. i get an A in chemistry today for arts and crafts. ;) :D

You can get re=inkers from Stampin' Up. Over 50 colours with stamp pads and markers to match. They work great!!
